Long wait time to wait for the doc - but she was awesome

The provider didn't know my medical history because I was a new patent. In addition to the excellent service I received, The Eye Clinic in Onalaska was modern and updated. I wish more of the clinics throughout Gundersen were this way; i.e. Peds in Onalaska, Family Practice in La Crosse, Women's health-mammogram, waiting areas through both Onalaska and La Crosse. Worn out, dated facilities in these areas appear unclean as well as reduced confidence in the skill of the providers.

Provider was amazing, was very knowledgeable and very caring. Made my son not nervous and happy about his appointment.

Sarah addressed all my complex and interrelated questions. She is knowledgeable, communicates well, and is pleasant to work with.

Appreciate the walk-in hours at the eye clinic. Woke up with pink eye but was able to be seen. Everyone I encountered were so kind and helpful. So appreciative of my experience at the Gundersen Eye Clinic!

I had a good experience in this department. However, overall, I believe the Gunderson has gone down hill since Covid and the firing of people who would not get the vaccine. I believe you lost a lot of good people.

If you expect patient to arrive on time need to start on time. Appoint ment took longer than expected at almost one hour. Enjoyed spending time with my provider who took the time to answer my questions without being rushed but the wait for my provider after instilling dilating drops was excessive. Need to respect patient's time as needed to get to work as was not able to change appointment after multiple attempts to a time I was not scheduled to work.

Dr. Clements is always eager to listen and answer my questions or concerns.

The staff at Gunderson are excellent, especially holly. And my eye Doctor she was a riot. I really felt comfortable with her. Great job, guys.

After the technician did my exam she told me the drops in my eyes would take a few minutes to work so the Dr would be in in about 10 minutes. Over a half hour later, the Dr finally arrived. Nice for the apology, but try sitting in that small room with nothing to do, nothing to read for over a half hour. Gundersen My Care gives reminders to be 10 or 15 min early to respect the Dr's time. I respect that. Please respect my time as well, or and give updates on how much longer a wait will be.

This provider took time to figure out what type of reading distance I read at. She also explored my distance vision issues. No other providers I'd seen in the past ever asked that. I felt well taken care of.

My wife and I both have small eye issues with minor family histories, but Sarah and her crew were more than willing to answer questions and were empathetic and knowledgeable on how we should continue going forward. Sarah seems to have a lot of the same great qualities our previous provider at this location had!

Sarah Clements went far beyond the normal in going through with making sure that ALL of our optical needs and options were thourghly investigated. She certainly answered all of our questions, even going so far as to answer questions that we ourselves didn't think about. What a wonderful experience and joy to be given such a great examination and consulation. Thank You so very much!!

Great experience, does great with my kids

Dr. Clements is such a great doctor for my kids. I love that she offered a treatment to try to slow the progression of his vision loss. She truly cares about offering the best treatment possible.

We checked in at 2:55 for our 3 pm appointment. At 3:30 we were still in the waiting room. We waited a full hour and 5 mins after our appointment time to be seen. We didn't see a doctor until 1605 for a 1500 apt. We missed our plans afterwards because we had to wait so long.

Very grateful for the knowledge and reassurance this department has for its patients.

I've been very impressed with Dr. Clements since first starting care with her. I just hope you all know that you've got a really good person in that position and I think she'll grow with your organization. I look forward to visiting her again. Thank you.

The technician listened to me, was patient with me. Dr. Clements was very patient, thorough. She explained everything in detail, and she knew my history, remembered my history, and she's an excellent doctor. I've already referred my family to her, and my sister and her husband love her, and I'm hoping to get my husband to go to her. She's just excellent all around. You couldn't ask for anybody better than her. I wish more doctors were like her. She's perfect.

appointment at 1o:30 got seated at 10:50 then sat in empty office for 35 minutes maybe you need more staff if i was not retired i would have got up and left this is recurring theme at this place

Dr. Clements is a great doctor. She takes time to answer questions and she makes sure you are comfortable with your medical plan going forward. Her staff is great too.

My appointment was for 10am, waited almost an hour to be seen! Sat in the exam room so long that the lights dimmed three times thinking no one was in there until I moved then the light sensor tripped and they came back on.

Very friendly, didn't have to wait long, Nice that they take the time to ask about family and laugh with me.

Previous La Crosse Campus patient and moved to Onalaska Clinic this year. Wonderful staff, personal non forced friendly care from everyone!!

Dr. Clements is amazing. She knows my child well and has guided us through his treatment/care for 7 years now. She monitors his condition, given us advice , respected where he is at/can tolerate for testing. We enjoy her so much we wish we could see her more than yearly.

For my child's first experience with Optometry, Sarah Clements and everyone else we encountered helped to make my son feel comfortable and at ease with a very new and somewhat scary experience. I appreciate the time that was taken to explain to him what was going on and the techniques they used to make him cooperate without feeling pressured and uncomfortable.

The doctor was very open minded when I suggested how to make my child more comfortable for the visit. 10/10 great job on her behalf.

Sarah Clements was a great listener and offered several options for solving my issues.

Due to my difficult prescription, Dr. Clements created a simulation with multiple lenses of my potential vision after "customized" cataract surgery. She also made sure I understood and could repeat back to her the options I need to consider as I filled out the questionnaire form my consult with the ophthalmologist. In addition, she let me know the out of pocket costs I can expect to pay beyond what Medicare will cover. She always has been very thorough and detailed, which I really appreciate.

Everyone was so kind to us during our visit! The nurse was great and thoughtful when it came to both of my children that were there. The Dr was amazing! She had to deal with an energetic toddler and she was great! She also had to deal with a 'helpful' big sister who was along for the appointment. She gave great care and attention and gave me a detailed response to the appointment.

Dr Clements does an excellent job of explaining and describing conditions. She also listens and answers all questions. She takes her time and makes sure you have all your questions answered.

She is the only Dr. that I am truly comfortable with. She listens to what is going on with my eyes and doesn't dismiss anything that I tell her about what is going on as not important.
