Dr Hughes and his team are amazing.

Hi, my service was excellent. Dr. Hughes does an awesome job. The only thing I would have to say is I had an MRI 18 months ago at Crossing Rivers in Prairie du Chien and he is unable to see that when he was talking to me, which I think that would even be more helpful. But maybe the nurse would have to pull it up next time, so it's partially my fault also. But I would say if a new patient's coming in, they may want to have their imaging uploaded to Gundersen at La Crosse prior to coming to see the provider because I did have a CAT scan and an MRI in the last two years at Crossing Rivers in Prairie du Chien, which I probably should have either uploaded or printed off for Dr. Hughes, but otherwise everybody did an excellent job.

I was slightly nervous coming in to see Dr Hughes. He explained to what issues that I was having with my back in a way that I was able to understand. He put me at ease with his recommendation about not needing surgery at this point. He was very encouraging with my fitness level and told me to keep doing what I have been doing. And also instructed me on what to look for, and how to tell if and or when I need to come back and see him again. Very satisfying with his attitude!

Dr. Hughes refuted all the assessments I had heard from other providers up to the present. Seemed to be in a rush.

My experience was good except it took 4 weeks to get the referral through.

Dr. Hughes seemed knowledgeable about my condition. He spoke very quickly though and seemed to be in a hurry. I didn't feel like he really listened to me. I have heard amazing stories from others and would trust him with my care still.

I've been seeking advice from other Doctors on my right arm weakness. I was able to contact Dr Hughes directly because he had done a past surgery for me and my daughter. He immediately diagnosed the problem and scheduled me for surgery. I am extremely glad that he is on my team. He has been there for our whole family!
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/13/2024
Dr. Hughes has scheduled me to come in 2 times over his lunch hour because he wanted to keep a close eye on a postsurgical concern and he didn't have any openings. He has been great to partner with over these past few months.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/5/2024
Wait time for services referred by provider are rediculous.

Dr. Hughes was very direct in my problem and the surgery that i would have to have done if i wanted but all the risk involved in doing it.. He had MRI on screen showing my spinal problem that was really bad and that i proably need to go to pain management see what they can do as surgrey is really bad one for me to have with no promise in the results or other problems that might come up having surgry.. Thank Dr. Hughes for being so honest about it with me..Not what i wanted to here but the honest truth..
