We offer University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH) Phase 3 students comprehensive ambulatory acting internships (AAIs) in a variety of regional outpatient clinics.

Gundersen welcomes Phase 3 students from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH) to participate in inpatient and outpatient rotations, as well as sub-internships.

We accept 5 residents into our 1-year residency each year. Apply for the 2024-25 class until Jan. 4, 2024.

We encourage you to apply for rotations at least 3 months before your intended start date.

We invite medical students to pursue training in our distinctive community-based academic environment.

We accept one dentist into our program each year, for a total of 4 residents in our 4-year program.

Our residents learn in a collaborative and supportive learning environment to enable them to practice in any setting.

We accept 1 resident into our Optometry with Ocular Disease Focus residency and 1 resident into our Optometry in Ocular Disease with an emphasis on Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation program each year.
