If you need help managing surgical, diabetic, and other wounds, or need an infusion or injection, our highly skilled nursing team can help. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, allowing you to maintain your home and work schedules, while still getting the care you need.

Wound care

Wound Care services includes assessment of various types of non-healing wounds:

  • Traumatic wounds
  • Surgical wounds
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Venous stasis ulcers
  • Arterial ulcers
  • Diabetic foot ulcers

Treatment options may include:

  • Sterile and non-sterile dressing changes
  • Multi-layer compression wraps to the lower extremities (Unna Boot)
  • Negative pressure wound therapy (Wound Vac)
  • Debridement
  • Lab tests and wound cultures
  • Dietary consultation


Patients who need injections do not always feel comfortable administering these at home.

Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics offers a variety of infusions including blood, iron, Remicade, and Reclast.

Our nurses can also help with:

  • Catheter changes
  • PICC line or central line dressing changes
  • Other services may be available by request
