Gundersen Tri-County is a progressive rural medical center in Trempealeau County in beautiful west-central Wisconsin.

We serve patients in three primary care clinics, a 24-bed critical-access hospital and in an Urgent Care and Emergency Department. We offer a choice of long-term-care options, including a traditional Care Center, shorter-term Transitions Center and nearby Senior Living assisted living complex.

Accountant I

Full-time position, Mon – Fri. days, duties include but not limited to general accounting, financial reports, budgeting and reconciliation as directed by the CFO. Associates degree required.

Accountant II

Full-time position, Mon – Fri. days, duties include but not limited to general accounting, financial reports, budgeting and reconciliation as directed by the CFO. Bachelor's degree required, CPA preferred, but not required.

Central Supply

Part time, Hours will vary dependent upon surgery scheduled, generally 2 six hour shifts per week.

Required: High school diploma plus at a minimum, successful completion of a Central Service Technician program (or equivalent such as OR Tech program) within 6 months of hire date.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Care Center (Nursing Home) Opportunities

Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation. Must have current Certified Nursing Assistant credentials.

  • .5 FTE Part time, 40 hours a pay period, day shift, 6 a.m.- 2 p.m.
  • .2 FTE, Part time, weekends, Day shift
  • Full and part time CNA positions available in the Care Center (Nursing Home), evening and nights.

Hospital Opportunities

  • Full and part time CNA positions available in the hospital setting, primarily evening and night shifts.
  • Casual/per diem or PRN position: casual staff needed to pick up open shifts when needed. This is a non-budgeted position with non-guaranteed hours

ED Tech

Full time, 12 hour shifts (9 a.m. - 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.) with every third weekend and holiday rotation


Full time

Medical Lab Technician, MLT/MT

Full time, 64 hours per two week pay period, hours and shifts will vary. Includes call, weekends and holiday rotation.

Occupational Therapist Assistant, Certified (COTA)

PRN, to assist with providing care to rehab patients. 

Occupational Therapist

Full time, Monday through Friday, day shift. Will work at Whitehall Hospital and Ashley Wellness Center, Arcadia.

Occupational Therapist needed in our Rehab Department to assure proper staffing during upcoming Family Leave and Vacations. Must work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team, using appropriate modalities and treatment techniques according to Wisconsin OT Standards of Practice. PRN - No Weekends. One year of experience preferred.

Registration Clerk with CNA certification

Full-time position, Mon – Fri. days. In addition to clerical duties, will also need to perform rehab tech duties (CNA certification)

Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospital and Emergency Room

  • .75 FTE, full time, 12 hour shifts (mostly nights with some day shifts, 7 p.m.-7 a.m.) every third weekend and holiday rotation. Available Medical, dental and retirement benefits.
  • .3 FTE, part time, 12 hour shifts 7 p.m.-7 a.m. (36 hours per pay period) Shift is every third weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) with holiday rotation.
  • 1.0 FE, 8 hour PM shifts, primarily weekdays with every other weekend and holiday rotation required as needed
  • Casual/per diem or PRN position, casual staff needed to pick up open shifts when needed. This is a non-budgeted position with non-guaranteed hours

Care Center (Nursing Home) Opportunities

  • .9 FTE, Full time, p.m shift, 2 p.m.- 10:30 p.m., every third weekend and holiday rotation.
  • .3 FTE, Night shift, every other weekend and rotating holidays only

TEMPORARY RN - Care Center

Registered Nurse needed to provide coverage during Family Medical Leave and Holidays.

.9 FTE, full time day and pm shifts may reduce after FML completed

Potential conversion to a standard position in the future.

Surgical Tech

Part time, .3 FTE, day shift, schedule will vary based on surgical rotation.
