Gundersen Tri-County is a progressive rural medical center in Trempealeau County in beautiful west-central Wisconsin.

We serve patients in three primary care clinics, a 24-bed critical-access hospital and in an Urgent Care and Emergency Department. We offer a choice of long-term-care options, including a traditional Care Center, shorter-term Transitions Center and nearby Senior Living assisted living complex.

Advanced EMT or Paramedic- Arcadia Ambulance

The Arcadia Ambulance Service is accepting applications for Advanced EMT's or Paramedic's for part time and on call positions. Applicants with an EMT Basic license may apply if you can commit to completing Advanced EMT within one year.

Applicants must have current state of WI licensure or be eligible for licensure. Applicants must pass a health and drug screening; background and insurability review and have a current unrestricted WI driver's license.

Certified Nursing Assistant

Hospital Opportunities
Includes weekend and holiday rotation. Must have current Certified Nursing Assistant credentials.

  • Full time, 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per 2 week pay period, 5 p.m.- 5 a.m.
  • Part time, 0.4 FTE, 32 hours per 2 week pay period, 5 p.m.-5 a.m.

Care Center (Nursing Home) Opportunities
Includes weekend and holiday rotation, Must have current Certified Nursing Assistant credentials.

  • Full time, 0.8 FTE, 64 hours per two week pay period, night shift, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.

Dietary Aide

Part time, 0.125 FTE, 4-6:30 p.m., 2-4 shifts a week. Ideal for students!

Part time, 0.5 FTE, day shift, 6:45 a.m.-3 p.m., includes occasional pm shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Exercise Physiologist

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Cardiac Rehab patients

Tuesday/Thursday: 8 a.m.–12 p.m. - Program development, Phase IV, new patients, Cardiac Monitoring, May assist with Pulmonary rehab, develop/implement smoking cessation program. 

Imaging Technologist

Part time, 0.3 FTE, (24 hours per pay period)

Varying Shifts (Days, PMs, rotating weekends and holidays)

Call hours are also required.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Full time, 40 hours a week, 1.0 FTE position will be shared between the Care Center and the Hospital.  

Days shift, (hours may vary - anytime between 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

May require some weekend and holiday coverage initially, but long term plan is for no weekends or holidays.

Housekeeper

Full time, 40 hours a week, Day shift, 1 weekend a month.

Shift is 5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. or 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Front Desk Receptionist- Emergency Room

0.8  FTE, 11 p.m. – 6 a.m., Will work every other weekend and rotating holidays

This position will cover the Front Desk and the patient's initial entry into system. 

Prefer candidates with the ability to obtain preliminary vitals, and assist with room set-up.

Maintenance Mechanic

Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift Monday through Friday including on-call night and weekend hours.

Medical Lab Technologist or Medical Technologist

  • Full time, 0.85 FTE, Night shift. 68 guaranteed hours per every 2 week pay period with the flexibility to go up to 80 per pay period as needed. 7 nights on / 7 nights off rotation (Thursday-Wednesday). Work every other weekend and any holidays that occur within the 7 day on rotation.
  • Full time, 0.8 FTE, varying shifts, weekend and call rotation.

Physical Therapist needed for an active Rehab Department in Hospital and Long Term Care Center. Full Time hours available now to provide coverage for staff vacations and upcoming medical leave. Position has the potential to become a long term / part time position.

Physical Therapy license required.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospital and Emergency Room

Includes every third weekend and rotating holidays.

  • RN, Full time, 0.9 FTE, Med/Surg Hospital/Emergency Department, 7 p.m.-7 a.m.
  • RN - Hospital/Emergency Department, 0.9 FTE, 12 hour shifts, Varying (Days and Nights),  Will consider a weekend Only position (work every weekend)

Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN - Long term care

Surgical Nurse/Operating Room Circulator

Per Diem - Shifts Variable / approximately 2 days per month – Registered Nurse needed to cover 8 hour surgical rotations shifts at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.
