Gundersen St. Joseph’s welcomes Zachary Meyer to clinic team

Monday, September 27, 2021

Gundersen St. Joseph's Hospital and Clinics welcomes Zachary Meyer, MD, to its medical staff.

Dr. Meyer, a Reedsburg native, sees patients at Gundersen St. Joseph's Hillsboro clinic. He completed the Gundersen Family Medicine Residency program with a rotation in Hillsboro in 2019.

"I find healthcare rewarding." Dr. Meyer said. "I enjoy connecting with people, helping people and thinking about innovative ways we can support the community by working outside of our walls. St. Joe's shares the same values."

Dr. Meyer graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) program. In medical school, Dr. Meyer was involved in rural health advocacy and community and public health projects.

"Dr. Meyer is a great fit for Gundersen St. Joseph's," said Gundersen St. Joseph's Administrator Kristie McCoic. "He has a passion for rural healthcare and understands the important role we play in the health and resilience of our communities."

To schedule your appointment with Dr. Meyer, call (608) 489-8000 or visit gundersenhealth.org/st-josephs.
