Gundersen St. Joseph's to host free holiday movie night at historic Elroy Theater

Gundersen St. Joseph's is hosting a free holiday movie on Friday, Dec. 29 at 2:30 p.m. at the historic Elroy Theater.

The movie to be presented will be "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" featuring Jim Carrey. Everyone is welcome. Free popcorn will be served along with water and the public is encouraged to dress festively for the event.

"We just decided one day, 'Hey, that would be a good idea,'" says Kristie McCoic, clinic operations officer at Gundersen St. Joseph's. "We know the kids are off school during that week and cabin fever sets in pretty quickly during the winter so why not put on a free holiday movie to get everyone out of the house?"

Doors open at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29. The movie starts at 3 p.m. No reservations necessary, first-come, first-served. For more information, visit us on facebook.
