If your child does not have a primary care provider, we can help connect you with one for ongoing care. When available, we work alongside your child's primary care provider to bridge the gaps and keep your child healthy and thriving.

What to know about the Pediatric Mobile Clinic
Your visit to the Pediatric Mobile Clinic will look much like it does when you visit your brick-and-mortar doctor’s office. Our staff will check you in and invite you to our waiting room. We will take your child's vital signs and discuss the reason for your visit in a private exam room. Based on the nature of your visit, we may do a physical exam, give a vaccination or prescribe medication, for example.
We provide primary and preventive care services from the Pediatric Mobile Clinic. We commonly see children for:
- Chronic conditions like ADHD, allergies and asthma
- Minor illnesses like ear pain, sore throat, cough and stomach aches
- Non-emergent mental health care
- Sports physicals
- Vaccinations
- Well visits
Our care team sees all children, from birth through age 18, regardless of where they receive healthcare.
When scheduling an appointment, please have your insurance card available so our staff can confirm if your insurance provider is in our network. Many insurance plans are accepted, including BadgerCare Plus. If the appointment is not covered by insurance or you need additional support, please ask to be directed to our Financial Counseling team to discuss your options.
The Pediatric Mobile Clinic is staffed by our Emplify Health by Gundersen care team, including a provider with pediatric healthcare expertise and a medical assistant. An integrated behavioral health provider is also available monthly to care for children with non-urgent mental health concerns.

Will my insurance cover my child’s visit to the Pediatric Mobile Clinic?
Many insurance plans cover care on the Pediatric Mobile Clinic, including private insurance as well as BadgerCare Plus. When scheduling an appointment, please have your insurance card available so our staff can confirm if your insurance provider is in our network.
If the appointment is not covered by insurance or you need additional support, please ask to be directed to our Financial Counseling team to discuss your options.
Can I attend the visit with my child?
Of course! We want you to attend with your child if you can be there. If you cannot attend, we will call you at the beginning of the appointment to confirm that we have your permission to see your child. If we are seeing your child at school, please let them know if you are planning to be at the appointment to coordinate the time; otherwise, the school will determine a time that is least disruptive to your child's class schedule.
Will the provider on the mobile clinic have my child’s medical records?
In most cases, our care team will be able to securely view your child's medical history, giving them a full picture of your child's health. We aim to work hand-in-hand with your child’s other healthcare providers to create seamless care.
When should I choose the Pediatric Mobile Clinic for my child's healthcare?
We offer same-day appointments and can help ease the stress of transportation and scheduling issues that can make it difficult to get your child to the doctor. Also, we offer care from providers with specific pediatric expertise. You will receive the same trusted, quality care from the Pediatric Mobile Clinic that you receive when visiting any of our other locations.
