E-visit through MyCare
Gundersen Health System is now offering another convenient and affordable healthcare option. E-visits are available for patients with these non-urgent illnesses:
- Back pain
- Cough/upper respiratory infection
- Red eye
- Sinus problems
- Urinary problems
- Vaginal discharge/irritation
To use e-visits, you need to be:
- A Gundersen patient* with a MyCare account holder (if you don't, it's fast, easy and free to sign up)
- Seen in a Gundersen primary care department in the last 36 months
- 18 years old or older
E-visits are conducted through your MyCare accounts from any location in Wisconsin, Minnesota or Iowa with Internet access using your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Simply log in to your MyCare account and click on the e-visit icon. You will complete a few questions online (should take less than 5 minutes) and then you'll receive a diagnosis, treatment plan and prescription (if needed) within three hours for weekday e-visits between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. For e-visits any other time, you will receive a response by 10 a.m. the next business day.
If your condition cannot be treated in an e-visit, you will receive a request to visit your primary care provider or Urgent Care. In that case you will not be charged for the e-visit.
The cost for an e-visit is just $40. If you're covered by Quartz insurance, part of this fee may be covered—check with your plan administrator for details.

Neither Medicaid nor Senior Preferred (Medicare Advantage) patients are eligible for Gundersen e-visits at this time.
