Friday, November 09, 2018

Gundersen Health System obstetrician/gynecologist Dana Benden, MD, is now seeing patients at Crossing Rivers Health Center for Specialty Care in Prairie du Chien. Dr. Benden will also be performing robotic and other minimally invasive surgery techniques in the surgical department at Crossing Rivers Health.

Dr. Benden is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with expertise in managing gynecological conditions, as well as diagnosing and treating cancers of the female reproductive system. This includes ovarian, uterine, vaginal, cervical and vulvar cancers.

  • She offers the following services at Crossing Rivers Health:
Management of gynecological problems including abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids and endometriosis
  • In-office procedures and minimally invasive surgeries
  • Evaluation and management of precancerous and cancerous lesions of the gynecologic organs
  • Evaluation and management for women at high risk for gynecological cancers due to family history or genetic mutations

"It is my hope that by bringing gynecological care and minimally invasive treatments to the communities in and around Prairie du Chien, we can better serve women and their families, and eliminate an otherwise unnecessary trip to La Crosse," comments Dr. Benden.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Benden, call Crossing Rivers Health at (608) 357-2525. For information about other specialty services offered in Prairie du Chien, visit gundersenhealth.org/pdc or crossingrivers.org.
