What participants told us they learned:

  • TIC is a philosophical shift and not a diagnosis for PTSD
  • ACEs are prevalent across all economic levels
  • Trauma manifests into different behaviors than expected
  • Teachers should teach as if all students have ACE scores

There are many hotels in the area including a nearby Hilton. There are also a number of Air B&B’s in the area. If you want to be close to restaurants then we suggest staying downtown, and know the Hilton to be a reliable hotel.

Most participants without a vehicle prefer to take Uber or Lyft. The building is on a bus line, so if you check the MTC (Metro Transit) website you can plug in a trip planner which will give you possible bus routes. Have the driver leave you in front of the main entrance where the large surface parking lot is located on the East side of the building.
