At Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics, we don't see you as just a patient, we see you as a friend or neighbor. We take the time to understand your needs and provide you with high quality, personalized care that helps you reach your full potential.

Visiting Hours

Gundersen Moundview believes visitors play an important role in supporting our patients during their stay. General visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Visits outside of these hours should be arranged in advance with our nursing staff with respect to the patient's needs. Children are welcome to visit with adult supervision.

Food Services

Gundersen Moundview offers a room service menu that meets the needs of most patients. Visitors may order a guest tray from the patient's room service menu or may eat in the hospital's cafeteria. Cafeteria hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 -9:45 am and 12-1:30 p.m. The cafeteria is not open for dining on weekends or evenings, but visitors may still order room service. Vending machines are located in the lower level near the dining room and in the main hallway that connects the hospital and clinic lobbies. Snacks may also be purchased in the hospital's gift shop.

Gift Shop

The Partners of Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics Gift Shop is located near the hospital's main entrance. Hours are Monday – Friday, 9:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m. The shop is closed weekends and holidays. A variety of items are available including candy, cards and gifts.

Interpreter Services

Gundersen Moundview offers translation services to patients and their families who have limited English proficiency or who are deaf/hard of hearing at no cost to the patient.

Smoking Policy

Gundersen Moundview is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited inside all buildings, near entrances and on all grounds.

Patient and Family Services

Gundersen Moundview's patient advocate assists patients and family members with:

  • Advance directives
  • Obtaining medical records
  • Accessing community resources
  • Patient feedback/concerns
  • Resources for emotional, social, financial, family and health concerns

Patient Feedback

Gundersen Moundview wants to provide the best possible care and service to our patients. A formal process is in place for investigating and resolving concerns. If you are unhappy with our services and our staff is unable to immediately resolve your concern, please complete a patient feedback form. Once received, the forms are forwarded to the appropriate manager. Resolution of the complaint should generally occur within two weeks.
