Pediatric program

Training director

Erin Beinborn portrait.

Erin L. Beinborn, PsyD, LP, ABPP, is a native of Menasha, Wis., and has been employed at Gundersen Health System as a Pediatric Psychologist since 2012. She is board certified in Clinical Health Psychology. Dr. Beinborn earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and doctoral degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Schaumburg, Ill. Dr. Beinborn completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship program at Wright State University, with rotations at Dayton Children's Hospital and Wright State University College Counseling Center. She completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship at Akron Children's Hospital's Neurodevelopmental Science Center. During her time at Gundersen, Dr. Beinborn has taken a lead role in continuing education, earning the hospital approval for continuing education programming providing CE credit through APA sponsorship. She also co-created a Pediatric Headache Clinic, conducts the majority of IQ/Achievement testing through Gundersen Behavioral Health, serves as the psychologist on the Cystic Fibrosis team and collaborates with many pediatric medical providers throughout the hospital system.

Sarah Long, PhD, LP, is a native of Warren, Ill., and has been employed at Gundersen Health System as a Pediatric Psychologist since 2015. Dr. Long earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Valparaiso University in Indiana, and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Dr. Long completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship program at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago before completing a two year post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Marshfield Clinic. Dr. Long serves as the primary provider seeing referrals from Gundersen Pediatric GI, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Pediatric Weight Management Clinics. She also heads the inpatient Consultation/Liaison service, seeing patients on the Pediatric Unit, PICU, and NICU. She is board certified by BCIA in biofeedback and holds licenses to practice as a Psychologist in Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

Bryan kolberg portrait.

Bryan Kolberg, PsyD, ABPP, is a rehabilitation psychologist who staffs the acute rehabilitation unit while also maintaining an outpatient clinic practice. He is board certified in Rehabilitation Psychology. He has been with Gundersen Health System since 2013. He earned his doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Ill., and completed his APA-accredited, pre-doctoral internship at The University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He then completed a two-year post-doctoral residency at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, Calif. Dr. Kolberg's areas of clinical interest are in neuropsychological evaluation and management of individuals with stroke or cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, hypoxia and other medical disorders, in addition to psychological evaluation and intervention with individuals with spinal cord injury.

Savannah Whitemarsh, PsyD, LP, is a licensed clinical psychologist working in Internal Medicine. She has been with Gundersen Health System since 2018. She earned her doctorate from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan. She then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in health psychology at the Louis V. Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Whitemarsh’s areas of clinical interests include primary care/behavioral health integration, with the aim of providing short-term, solution-focused interventions to patients (18+), aiding in chronic disease management, mental and behavioral health and life skills. Dr. Whitemarsh also conducts preliminary testing for adult ADHD.

Dr. Allison Allmon Dixson is a licensed clinical psychologist, a Pediatric Psychologist and Behavioral Health Consultant, the Section Chair of Integrated Care, and a Gundersen Adult Health Psychology Faculty for Primary Care Behavioral Health. Dr. Allmon Dixson has a passion for primary care behavioral health and serving children, adolescents, and families who might not otherwise receive behavioral medicine services. Dr. Allmon Dixson earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from The University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. She was the chief resident during her residency training at Primary Children’s Hospital, Salt Lake City, UT where she specialized in pediatric psychology and integrated care. She completed her fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center and Janet Weiss Children’s Hospital, Danville, PA. Dr. Allmon Dixson is privileged to continue to learn and grow as a faculty member.
