Auxiliary

Auxilians promote the welfare of Gundersen Palmer through various activities, including:

• Provide tray favors for hospital trays
• Office work such as labeling and sorting
• Provide baby welcome baskets 
• Fundraisers including bake sales, cookbook, sales, raffles, book fairs and gift case sales
• Hospital Week employee recognition

In addition to hospital activities, the Auxiliary organizes and participates in health-related community projects, including:

• LifeServe Blood Center of Iowa local donations
• Auxiliary scholarships to health career students from North Fayette Valley
• Palmer Memorial Foundation support through memorial donations & events
• Volunteering for “I Feel Good” Walk/Run, Fall Fund Fest, Celebration of Life and other Gundersen Palmer community events
• Support community health-related events
