The problem with social media
Do you use social media? While Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms have their perks, they also have drawbacks. For example, do you find yourself comparing yourself to the people you follow? Maybe you envy their hair, makeup, clothes or body; or maybe they're always posing with family and friends, traveling to big events or visiting exotic places.
The truth is, social media tends to be a highlight reel of someone's life. Most people aren't sharing the moments when they argue with a loved one, experience loss or trauma or feel uncomfortable. If the people you follow on social media make you feel like a lesser version of yourself, take a few minutes to clean up your feeds and unfollow them. Choose to follow people who inspire and motivate you. No one should make you feel like you aren't good enough.
