Meatza pizza recipe

Makes 8 servings

Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup spaghetti or pizza sauce
½ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
⅔ cup oatmeal
1 egg
¼ tsp. pepper
1 medium green pepper, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
½ cup ketchup
1 cup grated mozzarella (save ½ cup for top)
½ tsp. oregano
½ tsp. basil
2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese

Preparation

Mix beef, pizza sauce, salt, garlic powder, oatmeal, egg and pepper together. Press in 8 ½ X 11-inch pan on bottom to make a crust. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Drain any moisture from baked crust. Stir together peppers, onions, pizza sauce, mozzarella, oregano, basil and parmesan. Add to top of crust. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool slightly. Cut into 8 servings.
