Ingredients

2 inches ginger root
2 cups water

Preparation

Remove the skin from the ginger root and slice into thin pieces.

Add the water and ginger root to a small pot and simmer over medium high heat for about 10 minutes.

Pour the ginger tea through a strainer to remove pieces of ginger. Pour the remaining liquid into a mug and enjoy!
