Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants will discuss the benefits of breastfeeding and guide you through the basic of breastfeeding including;
- How breast feeding works
- Positioning and attachment
- When to feed your baby
- Breast care
If you are considering breastfeeding, this class will be very informative in helping you to make that decision.
This course also includes the online access which you would have available for 6 months.
Please bring your mobile device to class, so you can quickly and easily follow along in our prenatal e-books. You may also bring snacks/drinks as desired. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for parking.
Location of this class rotates monthly between Onalaska Clinic and the Hospital.
La Crosse classes will be held in the hospital 5th floor Patient Education Conference Room on the odd months (January, March, May, July, September, and November).
On the even months (February, April, June, August, October, and December) classes will be in Onalaska Clinic - Lower Level Education Center (see map). Please park in the lower level of the parking ramp and enter through the lower level Sports Medicine entrance.
The registration fee includes both you and a partner. You are encouraged to register for classes early to reserve your spot (classes fill quickly), but should not attend until after 24 weeks. Individual circumstances can vary.
