MyHealth Employee Challenges
Your health and wellness is important to us. Gundersen Health System provides MyHealth employee wellness challenges for our staff to keep you on track with your health goals. Register for available challenges using the Wellness Portal or call the Office of Population Health at ext. 56870.
The StairWell challenge is aimed at taking the stairs more frequently to increase daily physical activity and exercise, which in turn improves your health. The challenge begins in January.
Walk, Ride, Share for Cleaner Air
Walk, Ride, Share encourages participants to commute to work as well as commuting for other purposes as a way of being physically activity on a regular basis. Participants track their active/alternative commuting to work and commuting for other purposes each month. This challenge runs May 1 – Aug. 31.
Desk to 5k/13.1
This self-paced program will help you train to walk or run a 5K (3.1 miles) or a half marathon (13.1 miles), by providing you with training plans and weekly e-tips to help you stay motivated and focused. Training typically begins in February or March. This challenge is open to employees and their friends and family.
This three-month challenge focuses on healthy eating, physical activity and self-care. Wellness Bingo will challenge you to complete at least one activity per day from monthly bingo cards. Wellness Bingo kicks off in the fall.
