Zachary grew up in Reedsburg, Wis., and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) program. While in medical school Zachary was involved in rural health advocacy and in numerous community and public health projects. He most enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, and attending Badger games.
