I wish you saved paper and printed double sided. Also I would have preferred more detailed info on care, treatment, supplements to help eye health. I understand giving info that's just at a basic level but it's always nice to have more instead of having to go online to research it.

I went in for an eye exam. The nurse and doctor treated me like they were geuninly interested in my needs as as a person. The lady helping me with getting a new pair of glasses was very knowledgeable, and really wanted me to have a nice pair of frames.

I was satisfied at the visit but got home and was looking at the visit summary print out that used all kinds of big medical terms that we hadn't even discussed and am still a little confused about.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

I have never had a negative experience at the Eye Clinic. Everyone is caring and they don't rush you and hurry you along. This is especially important for me because I have balance and pain issues that make it difficult for me to walk. They always help me to get into the seat. When I am ordering glasses it is nice to have the time to pick out the frames. Everyone is unfailingly cheerful without being over the top. I always leave the eye clinic in a better mood than when I arrived.

after finishing with the Doctor's assistant, I waited about 15 minutes for the Eye Doctor to come in to see me. This was the only negative.

pleasant visit

This was a somewhat emergent situation. I had stopped at the KVMC clinic and they removed one foreign body but couldn't get the second one. They sent me to Gundersen Eye Clinic in Viroqua. I was in and out. Thank you for supporting rural health care and keeping it accessible!!!

There was some confusion about the "cash payment" form they had me sign. The clerk said I could pay now and submit to my insurance (VSP) that they don't carry, but the form said I could not do so. The wording needs to accurately match what the receptionist is verbally telling people.

The staff is always so very professional, friendly and respectful! Thank you to all of them!

I have been going to this eye clinic for years. I have always been treated great. The receptionists are always friendly. Dr McKay and his technician are always happy to try and help me find a solution for the problems I have had after cataract surgery. I do appreciate their compassion and kindness .

He explained everything thoroughly and made me feel comfortable as a patient.

Dr. McKay was extremely helpful in doing research for my unique situation. He went out of his way and put in effort to consult with other doctors. Then found me the answers and reassurance that I needed. Top notch doctor for knowledge and treatment of patients.

I had anxiety about the procedure but began to feel relieved after entering the Clinic because of the smiles and greeting at the front desk. Each employee I had contact sincerely smiled and greeted us. I haven't experienced so many pleasant employees at one visit ever. Most of all, Dr. McKay is calm, perceptive, knowledgeable with ease in sharing information and answering questions without condescension. The procedure was done without discomfort of any kind. Dr. McKay is an amazing doctor.

The whole staff, including Dr. McKay, are wonderful at Gundersen Eye Clinic. And in the optical department, a technician fixed my glasses that had been chewed up by my puppy. I didn't even think it was possible, but they look great. Also, the new Quartz card covered my new glasses. Great experience.
