As a parent who is not medically trained, all I do is worry that my child is getting what they need- and Dr. Randall and team did a great job! Thank you for talking to me like you are a concerned parent, validating questions AND being nice and fun with our child in the visit. Appreciate when love + Medicine is actually happening <3

This was one of the best experiences we've had at Gundersen. Everyone was so caring and kind. A scheduler triaged me to a nurse and they got my daughter in within the hour. Check in staff was great, the medical assistant was wonderful, and the provider was soo amazing with my daughter. I absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone looking for top tier care!

The wait from the nurse to the Dr coming in was lengthy and we would have rather-ed sat in the lobby. We waited over 20 minutes.

I was at the clinic for about 2 hours. 30 minutes was spent with actual people. The other 90 minutes was spent waiting. 45 minutes waiting in the waiting room. What's the point of having an arrival time 30 minutes before the appointment if you aren't called back till after your appointment time? I was in the exam room for 45 minutes waiting for the doctor. My daughter was over it and wanted to leave. By the time the doctor came in, she wanted nothing to do with him. Please rethink how long you keep young children waiting in such small rooms. There is absolutely no three year old that would enjoy waiting in a confined space for 45 minutes. It would have been nice if someone offered activities to do or snacks for my child. Instead we were confined to a small room until the doctor arrived.

Great visit all around. Very satisfied with our visit.

I always appreciate all staff. They all do an excellent job and we always feel welcomed. The only one area of improvement that I could give would be for the providers having a more open mind and understanding of parental choices for their children. Each child is unique and develops differently. While I feel that this is most always respected during a visit, I was a little disappointed this visit by what I felt to be non verbal shaming that was shown through body language and change of tone by the provider. When I explained my take as a parent on the topic of screen time, and how I choose to parent, the tone of the visit changed with irritation to my response by the provider noticed. All parents see things very differently, and what works for one, may not work for another. I find it very important to respect that another's thoughts may not be the same as my own, and that parent shaming in a non verbal manner is just as disheartening as verbal shaming. Recommendations are recommendations for a reason, because they aren't specific to every patient. There is a difference when it supports the child's needs vs having a negative impact, in which the entire assessment of this area is. It's very biased. The screen time question should be excluded from any medical assessment.
