I thought I was getting the problem taken care of, now need to come back three more times to get it done. Thank you

Everyone treated me with respect and kindness and were very professional. Dr Kawata explained everything to me in detail and I felt very comfortable in his care. I am happy that I will be in his care since he seems to pay great attention to every detail.

Not really a dynamic personality

Slightly awkward undressing as they don't have you put a gown on. Also there was a resident that was standing in front of me instead of behind me (as the MD and RN were) when I undressed. Being in a gown would make the entire situation more comfortable.

Highest praise to Dr. Kawata. Much thanks to East Lab for "sneaking" us in early so we could be on time for Dr. Kawata.

New location not communicated and much more difficult to reach.

Dr. Kawata is awesome. He always has time for me and if I would have issues, I know I can count on his expertise advise to help me. He always makes me feel assured that I am on the right track.

First off I'd like to say the procedure room was not clean. There was a reddish/brownish substance dripping on a drawer across from me. Iodine was dripped on the floor where I was going to stand to get in position for my procedure. Also, the exam table where I had to kneel had brown dirt. It was already explained to me that I would have my procedure repeated in 6 weeks and I might need even more appointments after that. After my procedure I asked about making my next appointment to my provider and I was told I could make a followup appointment but if I felt better to cancel it. That completely contradicts what I was already told, that I would need at least 2 if not multiple appointments/procedures in order to resolve my issue. My problem was never going to be resolved with 1 appointment/procedure. I am very disappointed with the contradictory information. The Dr and PA both 100% know and I know that I need multiple appointments, so to be told to schedule another appointment but cancel it if I'm feeling better was ridiculous.

I think it's important to remember that not everyone wants a student doctor. It's important to ask first before having them come in before the actual doctor.

The nursing staff didn't introduce self. Never asked any questions. Just typed and left. The department and room were dirty, stained. Medical equipment sitting out. It was disturbing. Felt like we were waiting in a construction zone. Very difficult for disabled patients as well.

This appointment started as a consult. I needed help right away and instead of making me wait he helped me same day. He was patient and understanding. His staff was also very helpful and calming.

Thanks to the Valet Parking Staff. I would not be able to attend appointments in La Crosse without valet parking and wheelchair transport.
