No Patient Experience Reviews – Why Not?

Gundersen Health System requires a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys in a 12-month period for each clinician before posting a clinician’s rating. Industry best practice is clear that more data provides a more accurate picture of the patient experience.

Personal Interests

Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to La Crosse when she was three years old. Mary spent many years studying various forms of dance and played the violin. She attended Central High School and served as captain of the dance team. Mary originally wanted to pursue an art degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities but changed her major to Physiology/Pre-Medicine after working in dietary at Gundersen, along with participating in hospital-based volunteer work in both the La Crosse and Minneapolis areas. Mary graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She spent two years on the island of Grenada for her basic science courses and two years doing clinical rotations throughout the United States. She was fortunate to gain medical training experience in Reno, Miami, Brooklyn, Chicago and Toledo. Mary is excited to join the family medicine team in her hometown.
