As a patient for a long time with Gundersen I am always happy with how the receptionists greet you when you go to check in. I did notice that the person who checked me in this time was just okay. Not that she did anything wrong, it just wasn't the same welcoming feeling. The Medical Assistant was very friendly and explained everything well! Dr, Dietrich was thorough in asking questions and her exam!

Felt relaxed during the visit. She is very good at explaining things. Felt I could ask her about any concerns. Staff was very efficient and friendly.

Dr. Dietrich has been amazing throughout my care. I appreciate that she really listens. I left Mayo's care because I was NOT being listened to, at an actual risk to my health. Dr. Dietrich not only fixed those issues, but explained them thoroughly. She modified my care according to my needs.

Everyone was great. The PL on checkout made multiple appointments for me and fing the nearest place for labs drawn from my soon to be port so I would not have to drive to La Crosse the day prior to chemo. So appreciate her excellence. Gundersen employee proud

All staff greeted and treated me with friendly, professional, and pleasant manners. It was a very pleasant visit.

I think there has to be a better way to handle the check-out process. It seemed that the faster you could get to the window the better off you were. One couple was told to sit and they would be called when it was their turn, but others, possibly not knowingly, jumped in line. If there could be a way to hand out numbers in the order they came for check-out, it would be fair to all.

Everyone was extra kind. The assistant offered me a warm blanket as it was chilly in the exam room. That was very comforting. Dr. Dietrich was thoughtful and had good questions and suggestions. The check- out staff realized there would be a wait for a request regarding a mammogram appt. so they offered to schedule as requested and post in MyChart so I didn't have to wait.
