Personal Interests

Laura Krueger grew up in the countryside of Centuria, Wisconsin, spending much of her time exploring the outdoors with her two younger brothers. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Laura participated in the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) program, spending her clinical years in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and surrounding rural health centers. She has a deep-rooted love for rural communities and the outdoors, and she plans to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine in a rural location at the completion of residency. In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking, kayaking, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
