Personal Interests

Laura Jacobson, MD, grew up in Sheboygan, Wis. with her younger brother, Matthew, and parents Kurt and Julie, who are both teachers. She received her bachelor's degree in molecular biology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin -La Crosse, and then attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science - Chicago Medical School. She enjoyed her time in the big city, but is excited to once again call La Crosse home. Laura's interests in medicine include rural medicine, sports medicine, wilderness medicine, and geriatrics. In her spare time she enjoys running, playing soccer, hiking, skiing, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
