Great team! It would have been helpful to know which floor this dept. was on by the MyChart appointment notice.

All of the staff we have dealt with have been amazing . They go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and special. Not just a number.

I have always felt very comfortable and trust DR. Oettel with my care, he makes me feel as though he has my care and particular needs are a priority. DR. Oettel is very good at explaining my situation to me and is very open about what stages he feels I am in, what the next steps should be

I've always been treated great by all staff in Oncology and Hematology.

Dr Oettel is a great oncologist. I have always felt he listened to me, never rushed things , was knowledgeble about my condition , treatment options.

Heme/Onc has had the best patient care for years. They explain things very carefully to the patient and treat the patient as a partner in their healthcare instead of someone they can dictate to with no explanations. Other departments should learn from them, especially Cardiology where statements are made "that we go by protocol" instead of looking at the patient in front of them and tailoring treatment to the individual. Protocol may be the way to go but then explain why it is the best option.

It is always a great experience to meet with DR.Oettel and his staff. He is a great Doctor!!!!!

All staff members were great and made me feel comfortable , I really like Dr. Oettel, he is kind, polite and caring, he has a great sense of humor. I am very pleased with all.

I think everyone is very helpful and very nice. And i am happy i have Dr. OEttel for my dr. He is very very dedicated to helping and informing me to understand what my problem is and how it will be taken care of. I have a lot of trust in him. He takes all the time i need for him to answer any questions i have. Very pleased with Gundersen and my Dr. For sure.

The doctor was just fantastic and the staff was too.

Doctor Oettel is an outstanding doctor and carrying person. I've all the respect in what he does for the patients of Gundersen. Has always answered my questions and helping within his control to address my health issues over the last couple of years with working through lung cancer and other medical issues.
