Very pleased with the service.

The only thing that I brought up was the fact that I am starting to see black specks in my right eye (vision) Dr T noted it but didn't provide any added info. I guess if it gets worse, I'll have to bring it up again. May not be anything that Dr can do anything about anyway?

I always receive good care and appreciate that everyone is nice, and appointments are always on time.

I was mostly happy with my appointment, but one of the techs wasn't very friendly, and didn't get enough dilation in my eye. I know everyone has moments, but she didn't impress me. Everyone else was great.

I feel like I was rushed out. I also felt like I was dismissed. I was told my eye was fine and I just needed eye drops but I still have irritation and discharge even with cold and warm compresses and eye drops. I will be going back in to get checked out but by a new provider.

I was seen the day after I contacted the clinic about a problem with my vision. Cannot ask for better service than that!

Very friendly professional people in all departments I had contact with.

Overall it was a very good experience. The nurse and doctor were very knowlegable and treated me very well.

Due to Dr Thompson's hours at the La Crosse clinic setting up appointments is difficult as I rely on the Riverside Care van houts and availability

This was my first appointment with Dr. J Thompson. It was such a great experience to be able to feel comfortable from the minute I walked into the building. Everyone was attentive and helpful. All the staff were very attentive. I am looking forward to my next appointment in five months to be able to get to know my new doctor.

I find myself looking for visible nametags on staff at the hospital as at least 50% of them (mostly females) have their name tags turned around so that you can't see what discipline they are nor what their first names are. I can understand doing this in Behavioral health perhaps but not in the hospital in general. This problem has gotten worse and worse over the last 10 years.

He gave us great information! his personality and demeanor made us feel we could trust him very much.

My eyes were given drops around mid forenoon, and stayed extremely blurry until 9 plus O'clock that evening, is that normal or was I given too much drops

Both Dr. Thompson and the technician I saw prior to the doctor were pleasant, courteous and professional. I felt they did relate to me on an individual/personal level rather than just as a patient to see as they moved through their day. Because this was an insurance-covered annual exam, there was no need for me to 'check-out,' but I did have some insurance-related questions. The woman at the check-out desk was quite willing to help me. She was friendly and patient and seemed happy to help. Overall, my experience was very positive. The attitudes of everyone with whom I came into contact left me feeling that this is likely a well run department with friendly physicians and staff who interact well with their patients.

Dr. Thompson made me feel that I was/am in good hands. He made me feel like he really cared about me and my issue. I was very pleased with everyone that I came in contact with from the gentleman at the door when I was looking at the board to find exactly where I had to go helping get there and everyone after that. Even though I work for GHS at one of the affiliates I didn't feel like a number.

I don't believe my medical history was discussed at all and there was no reason to do so as this was my first time for this ophthalmology appointment

Dr Thompson and the staff were very professional and concerned with my comfort. The procedure was done in a timely manner. I expected to be waiting longer between drops and procedure, everything was completed and I was on my way home earlier than I thought. I was very pleased with the procedure, my vision is definitely improved. Thank you!

I fell once a few years ago, and every time I visit Gunderson, they ask "have you fallen recently". They need to stop doing that. It was a one time event, quit asking.

I'm always pleased with my care and I'm grateful for these treatments that preserve my vision.

Evidently, things got behind in giving eye shots and there was a much longer wait time than usual. It seemed even more like an assembly line process than usual. My driver questions why, when a Dr. says to see him in 4 weeks, there is no time available in 4 weeks.

He took time to talk to me about my vision ... vision work, and then my work in checking the background of my eyes, and is always very accurate, and good in doing the injection.
