Garrett Donaldson grew up in the small town of Geneseo, Illinois, where he participated in many school activities and was a lifeguard for six years. He then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a degree in biochemistry. After graduating, Garrett earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. While there, he was a part of the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine, a program that focuses on training physicians for rural areas. In his spare time, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife, Allison, as well as playing music, cooking, making his own hot sauce, playing board games, and following the Green Bay Packers with a passion.
