No Patient Experience Reviews – Why Not?

Gundersen Health System requires a minimum of 30 completed patient surveys in a 12-month period for each clinician before posting a clinician’s rating. Industry best practice is clear that more data provides a more accurate picture of the patient experience.

Personal Interests

Chelsey grew up in the rural Missouri community of La Plata and is the eldest of four children. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a bachelor's degree in Biology and utilizing the study abroad program to travel Europe. Chelsey completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. Her career initially took her to New Mexico and Alaska, where she worked in Family Health for the United States Air Force. Most recently, she began the inaugural EMPA Fellowship at Gundersen and looks forward to learning full-spectrum rural emergency medicine.

In her free time, you can find Chelsey enjoying the great outdoors, traveling, exploring the La Crosse area and all it has to offer, or checking a National Park off her bucket list. After completing the fellowship in Emergency Medicine, Chelsey hopes to work in a rural emergency department, practicing to the full scope of the Physician Assistant profession.
