My Experience with Dr. Farrell is always top-notch. I wish I could see her for all my issues. Unfortunately because of shortness of staff, I have to see my primary doctor for my body check of my skin. That doctor hardly checked me at all. Very disappointing because there is so much skin cancer nowadays.

This appointment was over a year long wait for not even 15 minutes of time. The initial reason for a visit was lost until I reviewed my chart from the initial referral which the actual reason for visit was lost. It appeared that provider never reviewed my chart. Provider appeared more interested in other issues and there was an accusatory tone regarding a previous diagnosis and treatment from another provider. Incredibly disappointing visit.

April has good patient skills, is attentive to your concerns, and I feel that I've received a most through exam of my body after my office visit.

Dr Farrell and her staff always treat me with respect. It's very embarrassing to undress completely in front of a few people but they always make you feel comfortable. It's a time where a women feels most vulnerable but how we can laugh and talk during the exam helps so much. I appreciate everyone so much!

April is great!

Felt appointment was rushed. Felt dr.not interested in cosmetic removal of seborrheic keratosis after I asked what it would cost. She is a good doctor but not interested in removing non cancerous seborrheic keratoses. The last dermatologist I had when asked the cost for removal of seborrheic keratoses listened and stated she could do it if I wanted it done. She froze the keratoses during my appointment and I paid that fee at the front counter.

Dr. Farrell, the Medical Assistants, and the nice Woman that checks you out at the end are all great. I always feel respected and walk away feeling satisfied. Please be sure to pass this on. Health Care is tough right now and I think it's important to recognize a job well done.

Very grateful that the providers offered to wear masks (since I was wearing one), and wore them correctly and without any hint of complaint or irritation about masking. As an immune compromised person who has an immune compromised spouse now in her fourth year of Long COVID, I appreciate the consideration the providers showed me and my family.

I didn't have insurance so I paid cash at the discount price, still a lot for a 5 minute appointment. I literally checked in for an 830 appointment and left by 835. Not sure how derm works and all, but it really felt like a waste of my time and money. Is there a better way to check on moles other than setting an appt, paying over $100 just to be dismissed in 5 min after the provider looks at it with a tool. Dr. Farrell wasn't rude or anything, but unfortunate that I missed work and paid that much for 5 minutes of her time, if that.

After referral from my rheumatologist, it took a year to be able to see the doctor. This is obviously not the doctor's fault. It seems to me, though, that there is a real need for more dermatologists in the system.

Always a pleasure to see Dr. Farrell and her staff. She's very thorough during the examination and answers all my questions and concerns since our family has a history of skin cancer.

Dr. April was very thorough with checking my skin for any out of the ordinary issues. She even looked through my hair and scalp and I have never had that done before. She found a spot on my arm and did a small slice and will get back to me with results.

I am not sure why I needed to be there 15 minutes early when I was not called back until 15 minutes after my "appointment" time. My time is just as important as the clinical staff's.

Always extremely happy with my experience with dermatology and Dr April Farrell.

The only concern I had was that I had a male medical photographer take a photo of my leg and I felt that I should have been covered up more. He was very professional, but I just felt that I needed more covering. I felt very uncomfortable even though the doctor and medical assistant were in the room.

It was a pleasant experience. Any questions or concerns were answered. I feel that if any other care I need, I woyld go back.

I really appreciate being fit into a busy morning when I arrived late due to weather and unexpected icy road conditions. I left my house at 5:45 am for a 7:15 am appointment and did my best. I also waited one year for the appointment. All in all I can imagine we need more care givers who are given the luxury of more time to know patients. My experience was of kind and speedy efficiency.

The staff was great, but felt like they were in a hurry.

Scheduling an appointment takes a long time to get. I understand that there are shortages of staff and other circumstances. Because the doctor and staff are so dedicated is why we continue to use Gundersen for our doctoring.

Hugely expensive!

Dr. Farrell performed a very thorough examination and answered all of my questions regarding my melanoma history, current condition and future treatment.

Because I have had only pre-cancers, not actually cancers, removed for 5 years, I can no longer see Dr. Farrell for yearly checks. I always have several precancers and had 6 precancers frozen off this time. Not having the expertise of a dermatologist in determining which of my many spots need to be removed worries me that some will progress to cancers. My general doctor is excellent, but this is not her specialty.

Yearly appt had to go 14 months because there were no openings in dermatology

Didn't realize that I couldn't have a full skin exam when I was there. Provider was really only willing to treat what I was referred to her for. Checkout process wasn't smooth. I needed to make a payment and credit card machines were down. I didn't know I would have to make a payment before leaving and if I would have known my payment method would have still been with a credit card.

I felt like she was rushing through my appointment, talking very fast and giving me a lot of information in medical terms that I was not familiar with. I felt like I had no time to digest the information and therefore was unable to think of questions I had until after my appointment.

Dr Farrell dismissed my past precancers by saying, "well, you've only had precancer, and haven't we all?" My dad died when I was 14 from melanoma. She was very insensitive! Then downplayed my request for chemo cream to be proactive if I see anything. Both siblings of mine have and use it. She acted very rude to me.

Dr Farrell is an excellent physician, caring, competent and confidence-inspiring.

Dr. Farrell decided to remove a growth because she listened to her instincts, and it turned out to be basal cell, so I really appreciate her knowledge. She has very good bedside manners, and is a very good Dr.

I love my provider, but the difficulty to see her to get an appointment is frustrating. I think if you are told that there is a wait of well over a year to get an appointment, this is an unacceptable situation. Please hire more dermatologists as quickly as possible. You are wearing your staff out!

It was very rushed, less than 2 minutes due the fact that I was reminded at least 5 times that I was just "fit in". I am always treated well and told to call if I have any concerns, which I did have, and called 2 months ago to be "fit in". So sad that providers have to be rushed to "fit in" patients........
