The only issue I had was not with my care but with the parking lot. The lines in the parking lot are so faded that you could hardly see them.

My family and I have always received great care from Dr. Strain. My biggest issue with Gundersen is the wait times. My son's well child visit was scheduled for 1:30 PM and he did not see a provider until 2:40 PM. That is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for an appointment without being informed of a delay. We should have been in and out and done with our appointment by 2:40. We spent two hours and 15 minutes at the clinic yesterday by the time we left. That is completely unacceptable. There needs to be better communication between the medical assistants/Dr. and the front desk when people are checking in for appointments. We arrive early, per your request, for our appointment so we are checked in and ready to go. I can handle a small delay, what I can't handle is waiting for over an hour and no one can give me an answer as to when my child will be seen for his visit. I took time off work for this appointment and pulled my child out of school to sit in waiting room for over an hour. The most frustrating thing about my experience yesterday is that no one cared. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's. This happens frequently at the Onalaska clinic unless I have made the first appointment of the day. This issue needs to be addressed.

The staff and Dr Strain answered all my questions. Dr Strain went over my lab work and gave me a lot of encouragement to continue with my activities etc. I feel totally at ease with her.

Over the years i haven't been able to find a primary doctor that I liked and actually listened to my concerns and actually act on it has made it easier for me to choose a doctor to stick with and I appreciate everything Dr. Amy has done for me.

I am very impressed with Dr. Strain's thoroughness. She spent extra time with me having seen me for the 1st time as I just moved here. Unfortunately all my medical records did not get to her in time before my appointment so she wasn't able to know my history. She asked detailed questions to know how to help me. EXCELLENT CARE

Dr. Strain is so compassionate and empathetic. She is the epitome of the best provider and provides the best care. I felt cared for and heard, my concerns were addressed and received with compassion. She always makes time for her patients and her medical assistant is very friendly too. Top tier care from Dr. Strain and is the reason I did not ask to be referred to Mayo during a difficult time in my health care.

Dr. Strain has been my granddaughters doctor all her life and we absolutely depend on her and her professionalism to take care of my little sweet heart, and I wouldn't take her to see anybody else she's an excellent. Excellent physician. And we are so lucky to have her.

This was my first annual physical with Amy Strain and I will DEFINITELY want to have Amy as my regular doctor going forward. Dr Strain is extremely knowledgeable and takes her time with her patients. It doesn't upset me when she is running behind, because she is always listening and giving thorough care to her patients.
