✔ The primary responsibilities of the Retail Sales Associate are to maintain outstanding customer service, receive/merchandise product, and support the store management team. Sales associates are a vital team member of our pharmacy department working at point of sale areas in and outside of our pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate distribution of medications and products to our patients. Our sales associates must possess patience along with an innate desire to solve customer healthcare needs, to develop and foster relationships, instilling genuine confidence regarding health and nutrition.
What will this position look like:
✔ 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
✔ Shift: Monday-Friday, primary hours: 9:30AM-6:00PM and 10:30AM-7:00PM as needed. Saturday and Sunday: 9:00AM-1:00PM with one day off the week prior.
✔ Location: Onsite, Holmen
Schedule Example:
✔ M-F 9:30-6 with occasional 10:30-7 as needed. Sat and Sun weekend rotation approximately every fifth weekend 9-1 at the Village Pharmacy

Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of the Retail Sales Associate are to maintain outstanding customer service, receive/merchandise product, and support the store management team. Sales associates are a vital team member of our pharmacy department working at point of sale areas in and outside of our pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate distribution of medications and products to our patients. Our sales associates must possess patience along with an innate desire to solve customer healthcare needs, to develop and foster relationships, instilling genuine confidence regarding health and nutrition.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate superior product knowledge in assisting customers as appropriate within scope of practice.
2. Sell merchandise while tactfully interacting with customers according to our standards.
3. Receive, check, and shelve medications and merchandise in a timely manner; keep store clean and uncluttered.
4. Complete customer transactions using Point of Sale (POS) register system.
5. Package products and prescriptions accurately for distribution to customers/patients
6. Effectively complete all opening and closing checklists as directed.
7. As requested by Store Manager, sales associate may function as back up delivery driver to ensure patient access to products and medications.
8. Effectively implement Store Manager priorities to achieve sales and service goals.
9. Assist in the training and development of peers.
10. Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management.
11. Other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalency
Work Experience:
REQUIRED
1 year experience in a retail environment
License and Certifications:
REQUIRED
Valid Driver's License (DL)
