Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics is seeking a full-time hospital-based PA or NP. This provider will be responsible for the medical care of our hospitalized patients at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital. Responsibilities will include admission H&P, daily evaluation, diagnostic and treatment decisions, discharge planning and documentation and working with interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists and social workers. Training and support will be provided through a combination of telemed-based oversight from the hospitalist physicians of Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, direct oversight from local physicians and opportunities to work directly with the hospitalist physicians in La Crosse during the initial training process. The full-time work schedule is 7 days on with telephone-based call during the evening and overnight followed by 7 days off.
