Gundersen Health System is recruiting for a full-time optometrist based at the Gundersen Eye Clinic in Winona MN. This new role will also float within our tri-state region as necessary. This growing practice has an emphasis on primary care, including ocular disease diagnosis, geriatrics, contact lenses, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgery patients. Modern technology and facilities await this new role. We use EPIC electronic medical records, new examination lanes, Forum imaging data software, autorefractors, automated visual field analyzer, digital photography, OCT, topography and pachymetry. Support staff members include patient liaisons, certified ophthalmic technicians, ophthalmic assistant, coding specialists, and ABO certified opticians.
The Eye Department at Gundersen consists of board certified ophthalmologists and optometrists. Eye Clinics are located in 14 locations within our WI, MN and IA service area. Subspecialty services include retina, glaucoma, pediatrics, oculoplastic, and refractive surgery.
Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Clinician staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all clinicians.
