Schedule Weekly Hours:

Gundersen Health System Biomedical and Healthcare Technology Management Department has an internship opportunity for a hands-on experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment. The position will be under the supervision of Biomedical team members. The goal will be to develop the necessary skills and proficiencies to work as an integral part of the Biomedical and Healthcare Technology Management team.

Schedule: Working between Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (15-20 hours/ week minimum)

Location: Onsite La Crosse, WI

Job Description:

Gundersen Health System provides a professional hands-on experience tailored to meet the interests of the interns in conjunction with the current activities of the department. Internships are available to students who have graduated from or are currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelors or master's degree program.

Major Responsibilities:

Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Post High School education in a specialized field:
Currently in or graduated from an Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's Program in a related field.

Work Experience:
DESIRED
1 year in a related field.

Category I - All Employees in this job title have a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials.
