The office of Population Health at Gundersen Health System is accepting applications for a Community Health Intern to join our team for the summer of 2023!

This is a paid, full-time internship designed to meet the requirements for students seeking a degree in public health or related field.

Job Description:

1.    Program implementation, evaluation and data analysis.  Specific program opportunities for involvement may include:  Social Determinants of Health outreach, Minutes in Motion; MyHealth screenings; HeartMath; Healthy Aging Programs; Employee Health Challenges; babysitting classes; Healthy Living with Diabetes series, Healthy Living with Chronic Pain; employee health promotion; health forums; employee exercise class; health fairs and screenings (worksite and community), special events, community programs
2.    Development of written education and promotion materials
3.    Program planning and design based on needs assessment
4.    Public presentations
5.    Involvement in research projects or pilots
6.    Special projects – community integration/relationship management
