40We are looking to add a Chargemaster Analyst to our Revenue Cycle Team! This position will be based out of Onalaska, WI with the opportunity to shift to a remote basis after training with the expectation to be onsite a few times a month/ quarter.
Schedule: Monday-Friday core business hours
An Ideal Candidate will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or related
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Certification Required

Job Description:
Works with Manager of Revenue Integrity or designee to coordinate all maintenance and revenue enhancement aspects of the hospital and clinic charge masters. Serves as project manager or project lead. Provides application support to assigned systems. This individual will research all aspects of services provided, reimbursement regulations affecting these services, assist in creating charge mechanisms in either the hospital or clinic masters, assist in implementation, and educate end users.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Work with PBS department colleagues and all end users to provide timely, respectful, and comprehensive communication for the purpose of customer satisfaction.
2. Research areas of particular sections as to the services being provided, how currently being charged out, and the reimbursement regulations to maintain compliance in all the respective sections.
3. Coordinate, monitor and implement all changes to the hospital or clinic charge master.
4. Educate and communicate with departments as to accurate charge capture mechanisms in relation to revenue enhancement projects.
5. Able to substantiate the research in a format of mathematical and analytical reasoning.
6. Work in conjunction with the Finance and Compliance departments to ensure success for the organization as a whole.
7. Maintain all standard fields in the charge master/fee schedule in accordance with organization policies.
8. Work with Information Systems/Patient Business Services to ensure that the appropriate charge master/fee schedule information is placed on the claim.
9. Demonstrate problem solving, leadership skills, conflict management and team building skills in order to ensure a productive work environment.
10. Continuously stays abreast of new billing and coding regulations by utilizing appropriate reference materials, internet resources, seminars, or other resources.
11. Perform work within the functional area under general direction with accountability for specific goals/objectives.
12. Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested.
Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance or Information Technology or Accounting or a related field
Work Experience:
REQUIRED
5-7 years 7 years experience with clinic/hospital billing systems.
License and Certifications:
REQUIRED
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
