Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics Foundation scheduled to host its 16th annual Doc Randall Golf Outing on July 20
The Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics Foundation will be hosting its 16th annual Doc Randall Golf Outing on July 20 at the Hickory Grove Golf Course. The proceeds of the annual event provide needed equipment, programming and support for Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics.
"The Doc Randall Golf Outing is an opportunity to support a good cause, while having a fun time," explains Eric Swan, Foundation Director. "This year, the outing's proceeds will go towards the purchase of the Biodex Balance System for the Rehab Department."
The Biodex Balance System is a balance testing and training tool that helps improve balance, increase agility, and develop muscle tone, with a broad range of treatment options. It can be used for fall risk screening and conditioning, senior rehab, neurorehabilitation, sports medicine, concussion management, vestibular disorders and much more! "The great thing about the Biodex Balance System is that it can be utilized by broad range of ages, from a high school athlete to a senior citizen needing a fall risk screening," shares Swan.
The golf outing is held in memory of Dr. E.M. Randall. Dr. Randall, like his father before him, was a pioneer of medical services in Boscobel. He was a valued member of the community and the Boscobel Area Health Care team and an avid golfer.
The event is a best-ball scramble format starting at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. The $60 per golfer entry fee includes golf, cart use, and a meal.
