The Rehabilitation Services department at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics is now certified to treat Parkinson’s disease patients with “big and loud” methods that coach patients to use larger hand and arm motions; take bigger steps; speak above their normal volume; and apply those actions to daily activities.

Mr. Patrick Emlaw's Whitehall Middle School 8th-Grade class delivered 10 hand-made blankets Thursday, Dec. 19, to Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics. The blankets will be used in the Emergency Department for patients -- especially children -- who need comforting or who are being transferred. A few also will be kept to be used in Gundersen Tri-County's upcoming Hospice room.
