Gundersen St. Joseph's to host 'legendary' annual salad luncheon April 26
Gundersen St. Joseph's annual spring salad luncheon has attained almost legendary status in the local communities of Hillsboro, Elroy and Wonewoc since its inception in the 1990s. The annual fundraiser is a sure sign of spring and will be held on April 26 – Administrative Professionals Day.
The spring salad luncheon will take place at the Hillsboro Firemen's Community Center from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and will also include a geranium sale. Tickets are $7 in advance, $8 at the door and are available from reception staff at each of the Gundersen St. Joseph's clinics in Hillsboro, Elroy and Wonewoc as well as the hospital.
The spring salad luncheon is an opportunity to support the work of St. Joseph's Memorial Foundation which, in turn, supports an array of programs and initiatives at Gundersen St. Joseph's Hospital and Clinics and within the community.
Administrative Professionals Day is an annual national day of recognition for the important work done by administrative professionals in all sectors of the economy. Originally starting out in 1952 as National Secretaries Week, the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) renamed the recognition event to keep pace with changing job titles and expanding responsibilities of the modern administrative professional.
