Clinical Medical Assistant
Full Time Position. Will work approximately 35 hours per week. Provides general nursing care and assists providers in the care of clinic outpatients through providing quality care and service in a timely and professional manner. Full time position. The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise physiologist is responsible for the coordination and daily operation of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation outpatient programming, to include Phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Stress Testing, Cardiac Monitoring/Testing, Heart Failure, Quality Measures, Risk Modification and education for Cardiopulmonary patients. The Exercise Physiologist works collaboratively with nursing, respiratory therapy and the physician staff to accomplish cardiopulmonary services.
Promotes wellness in the community by assisting with outreach education and fitness and healthy lifestyle programming.
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in clinical exercise physiology with emphasis on cardiopulmonary rehabilitation required.
BLS and ACLS certification required or will be provided.
American college of sports medicine (ACSM), Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP), and Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP) certification preferred within one year of employment.
