Athletic Movement Training

Take your game to the next level

Athletes who want to perform at their peak physical condition may need more than just practice. Whether they play for school or a club-sponsored team, specialized training from the experienced professionals at Gundersen Health System can help increase performance and prevent injuries to keep your athlete in the game all season long.

The Program

The Athletic Movement Training program will give your middle school athlete the opportunity to build a strong foundation of basic movement patterns needed for sports. Your athlete will enhance the skills needed to improve their speed, agility, balance, flexibility and endurance.

The Trained Instructors

Certified athletic trainers from Gundersen Sports Medicine will provide individualized instruction, with an excellent instructor to athlete ratio of 1:10.

The Goal

The medical background and experience of Gundersen's athletic trainers will allow the specific needs of all athletes to be met. The ultimate goal is to ensure their safety and improve their overall performance.

All sessions will be held at the La Crosse Area Family YMCA gym.
