Cycling is a repetitive activity with most cyclists averaging more than 5,000 revolutions per hour. Because of cycling's repetitive nature, it's important to have the proper fit and form. Together with local bike shops, our experts will set you up with the optimal bike fit for prevention of injuries and improved performance.
The assessment will include a review of your medical history, a discussion of personal goals and any current physical problems. Our expert will perform an assessment of form and cycling mechanics on your bike with our stationary trainer. Recommendations for adjustments to seat position, handlebar position, stem position, break hood position and cleat position will then be discussed and performed. It's recommended you bring all of your cycling equipment. Gloves, shoes or the helmet can affect your form and comfort.
The assessment is designed to:
- Modify bike fit to meet individual needs for pain management and/or performance
- Prevent cycling injuries with correct body posture and bike fit
