Are you ready to improve your performance and achieve your personal best? Whether you're taking up a new activity, are a competitive athlete or are somewhere in between, our certified sports medicine experts can help you reach your goals with these programs.

AMP (Achieving Maximum Performance) is a new program offered jointly by the Gundersen Health System Sports Medicine and YMCA experts. Services are available at two YMCA locations.

Aquatics: Aquatic physical therapy allows you to exercise with less stress to joints and healing tissues.

Biking: Our experts will set you up with the optimal bike fit for prevention of injuries and improved performance.

Golfing: Our trained sports medicine professionals will carefully evaluate your flexibility, balance and strength which are all keys to refining your overall game and preventing injury.

Team Camp: Improve your athletic performance and reduce your risk for injury with our five-week program available to athletes 12 years old and older.

Throwing: A throwing or pitching evaluation is performed to help identify and correct mechanical faults that may compromise your performance or cause injury.

Walking and Running: A running evaluation is performed to identify and correct mechanical faults in your running style and body mechanics.
