Visitors

As a patient at Gundersen Health System, you get to decide who may visit and when. One exception is family and friends who are not feeling well. Because new moms and babies are more vulnerable to complications from illnesses, such as the flu and colds, we ask anyone who is ill to avoid visiting.

Patient condition may also limit visitors to ensure proper medical care and time for healing. Other events occurring in the hospital, time of day, number of visitors or the length of time visitors are present may also impact visitors. Please know that our No. 1 concern is the safety, healing and rest of you and your baby.
