Training Registration Fees & Continuing Education

Registration Fees

Fees include online modules, instruction, resource manual, certificate of completion, continuing education credit, lunch, and refreshments.

Bereavement Training

  • Perinatal Death: $550
  • Neonatal and Pediatric Death: $550
  • Pediatric and Adult Death: $550

Coordinator Training: $450 ($275 for those who previously attended coordinator training and want a refresher)

Bereavement Training and Coordinator Training Combo: $950

Group discount: Receive $100 off per bereavement training registration when registering three or more. NOTE: You must obtain the discount code before registering. To obtain the group discount code, email rts@gundersenhealth.org with the names of those in your group. (Group discount does not apply to RTS Coordinator Training.)

Payment: Pay by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.

Transfers: Registrations can be transferred to a different conference location for a $25 administrative fee.

Cancellation policy: We offer a refund minus a $75 administrative fee for each cancelled registration. We do not offer refunds if you fail to notify us prior to the conference you cannot attend.

Continuing education

Nursing contact hours

Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, Inc., is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Perinatal Death provides 12.75 CE; Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Neonatal and Pediatric Death provides 12.75 CE; Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Pediatric and Adult Death provides 12.75 CE; and Resolve Through Sharing Coordinator Training provides 7 CE. The three online modules provide 1 contact hour each.

California nursing contact hours

Provider (Gundersen Lutheran Bereavement and Advance Care Planning Services) approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider #12245, for 12.75 contact hours for Resolve Through Sharing Training: Perinatal Death; 12.75 contact hours for Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Neonatal and Pediatric Death; 12.75 contact hours for Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Pediatric and Adult Death; and 7 contact hours Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Coordinator Training. The three online modules provide 1 contact hour each.

Social work continuing education hours

Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, Inc., provider #1089, is approved as a provider for continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards. aswb.org. ASWB Approval period: Nov. 15, 2015 – Nov. 14, 2018. Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, Inc., maintains responsibility for the program. Licensed social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers will receive 12.75 continuing education hours by participating in Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Perinatal Death; 12.75 continuing education hours by participating in Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Neonatal and Pediatric Death; 12.75 continuing education hours by participating in Resolve Through Sharing Bereavement Training: Pediatric and Adult Death; and 7 continuing education hours by participating in Resolve Through Sharing Coordinator Training. The three online modules provide 1 continuing education hour each.

Other credits

Bereavement Services is a provider for the National Association for Catholic Chaplains. These programs provide 15.3 contact hours for Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Bereavement Training: Perinatal Death; 15.3 contact hours for Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Bereavement Training: Neonatal and Pediatric Death; 15.3 contact hours for Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Bereavement Training: Pediatric and Adult Death; and 1.2 contact hours for each of the three online modules.

Other disciplines will receive a certificate of attendance. To receive continuing education (CE and CEH), nurses, social workers and chaplains must be present for each full day of training (no partial credit will be given). Completed evaluation is required for CE/CEH. CE/CEH certificate for classroom portion given onsite. CE/CEH certificates for online courses awarded upon completion of each module and are sent electronically.

Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) Bereavement Training: Perinatal Death is recognized by the Association for Death Education and Counseling to meet the thanatology-related contact hours to be Certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement.
