Choosing Gundersen for Your Obstetrics Care
At Gundersen we deliver more babies than any other hospital in western Wisconsin so you get highly experienced staff caring for you and your growing family every step of your pregnancy and birth.
We have a deep commitment to providing family-centered care and a personalized birthing experience for you. You and your partner are encouraged to be active participants in your pregnancy and in the planning and preparation of your birth. Other support people are welcome to be part of the birth experience, too.
When you come to the hospital to deliver your baby, you'll work with an obstetrician or a nurse midwife. You will also see doctors from our Family Medicine residency program. The residents are medical school graduates and are specially chosen for their skills and knowledge. They are supervised and mentored by Gundersen Obstetricians, Family Medicine doctors and our Certified Nurse Midwives.
