Cash Pay Services
In some situations, it can be less expensive to pay cash than to go through an insurance provider. That is why we offer cash-based affordable flat rates, whether your care providers are at Gundersen Health System, or not. No referral needed and no surprise costs.
Cash pay services may be right for you if:
- You have a high insurance deductible.
- You have used all insurance-authorized therapy visits.
- You are seeking therapy for one or minimal visit(s) and prefer to continue self-care at home.
- You want to see a physical or occupational therapist without a referral (direct access).
What are our cash-based services?
Based on your circumstances, you choose whether you want to bill to insurance or pay cash for your visit. If you choose to pay cash, please inform our staff when scheduling.
Rehabilitation and Performance Training
You will be asked for your payment in full when you check in for your appointment.

- Functional Capacity Evaluation
- 5 hours (3 hours day 1; 2 hours day 2) - $375
- Yoga Inspired Physical Therapy
- 60 minutes - $30 (must have regular physical therapy visit prior to group)

*Medicare and government insurance policies prohibit participation in cash-based services.
